Freedom Skatepark, located in Bull Bay, was established in 2020 to provide a high quality, well maintained, safe space to grow the sport of skateboarding in Jamaica, while empowering youth. The hallmark programme, the Edu-Skate Programme, is designed to teach youth essential life skills through skateboarding. The park also features other programmes and activities including a homework programme.
Support This CauseFreedom Skatepark was created in honour of Andre Thompson, a 20 year old Jamaican Skateboarder who passed away in 2009, and was made possible through the collaborative efforts of founding partners Concrete Jungle Foundation, Seprod Foundation, Sandals Foundation, Bull Bay Football Club, Flipping Youth Inc, Tmrw Tday Festival and Jamaica Skate Culture. We invite you to support skateboarding and youth development in Jamaica by supporting the Freedom Skatepark Foundation. All proceeds will go toward operating and maintaining the skatepark to ensure that it remains a safe and secure space for our young people to flourish.
