Through the Shalom Project you can help to build mental and emotional health in the nation of Jamaica.

The Shalom Project creatively addresses significant contributing factors to the mental and emotional wellbeing of our children and our youth. The inability to resolve conflicts, incidents of verbal, physical, and sexual abuse, and other unhealthy behaviors present a major challenge.

The Shalom Project is designed to be proactive, training persons who will be on-the-ground, present at key decision-making moments, and empowered to become agents of change, healing, hope and reconciliation in our schools and communities. Adult and peer-to-peer ambassadors will be trained in five transformational courses in Suicide Prevention, The Art and Science of Happiness, Conflict Resolution, Trauma Intervention, and Basic Skills in Counseling.

The Shalom Project provides an opportunity for you to contribute to building mental and emotional health in the nation. It will cost USD750 per person to train and provide ambassadors with resource materials and support. Your contribution will help the vision to become a reality!
