The Rev. Gilbert E. McKenzie was born and raised in Jamaica. He returned to Jamaica frequently to assist church colleagues in ministry. Since his passing in 2022, funds have been privately provided to assist persons in need in the Hellshire community.
Support This CauseRev. McKenzie and Rev. Keen (Pastor of Hellshire United Church) had a vision of building an addition onto the church as a community center to help those in need. This vision continues, however, the needs cannot wait for a building, thus this fund seeks support to fulfill the promise to uplift the Hellshire community by supporting the immediate needs of the children, families and seniors.
