Kingston Creative invites you to be a part of the next phase of transformation of Downtown Kingston by funding the Downtown Transformation Project! Adopt A Block by donating any
amount to Kingston Creative, and you help us to create a world class Art District and grow the creative economy of Jamaica, Land we Love.
Your donation will support the development of murals, shading, seating, plants and signage in Water Lane along 8 city blocks. This will employ creatives and make Downtown Kingston into a vibrant, safe, cultural destination.
Support This CauseWater Lane is a narrow walkway which runs parallel to Harbor Street, a major corridor. 100+ murals have been developed on Water Lanes and it forms the core of the Downtown Kingston Art District which is divided into 8 blocks, from Orange St. to East St., connecting the National Gallery of Jamaica with the National Museum, National Library and the Institute of Jamaica. 
With your support, we will be able to launch a new creative placemaking project that will
ensure that Water Lane is an inspiration and catalyst for the development of the entire
Downtown area.
The plants shading and seats will cool and beautify the area, making it more accessible for
people of all ages. You can take a closer look at this emerging cultural hub by downloading
the Kulcha Connect app and using the map feature to explore creative places.
Kingston Creative’s projects have trained and employ thousands of artists and creatives, and
this Art District will bring even more opportunities to creative people who live in the
communities in and around Downtown Kingston.
