The AFJ COVID-19 Vaccine Fund was created to inoculate approximately 10,000 Jamaicans. The Fund is currently at US$200,000. Our aim is to increase this to US$300,000 over the course of 3 months. The campaign will begin on April 6, 2021.Support This Cause
The AFJ COVID-19 Vaccine Fund launched with US$200,000 to support vaccine initiatives in underserved communities across Jamaica. The Fund is comprised of a major donor advised contribution plus AFJ discretionary funds and other private donors. The AFJ will work with the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) and the National Vaccine Commission to administer inoculation to underserved communities in Hanover and St. James. The MOHW is directing vaccines to high priority needs: healthcare workers, the elderly, other frontline workers. In an effort for vaccine equity, additional fundraising will go toward vaccine distribution across the island.
The AFJ is seeking to grow the Fund to US$300,000 by June, 2021. Help us vaccinate Jamaica. Help save lives. Donate now.
