Rose Town After School Program project provides trained early childhood teachers for very young children (ages 3 to 8) in poor and inner-city neighbourhoods in Jamaica. The project funds teachers to assist youngsters in disadvantaged communities with literacy and numeracy skills, so that their reading, comprehension and mathematics can be improved. The project also provides educational materials. The project is also designed to develop self-confidence and social abilities as well as academic and cognitive skills.
Thank you Lee’s Fifth Avenue for donating school uniforms to students at Rose Town After School Program.
